Cut the paper pattern
- Put the paper pattern on the fabric and align its grain.
- Select the scissors at the lower left of the table.
- Click the pattern to cut out the piece. This is a click action; you do not trace the entire outline by hand.
Return to normal dragging
If the tutorial shows Continue, advance the prompt. Right-click the cut piece or drag it into the inventory on the right, then drag out the next paper pattern.
The observed tutorial returns to the “place, align and cut out the rest” instruction and allows the next pattern to be moved. The scissors remain a tool at the lower left; they are not a cut piece to put into inventory. No separate universal “put scissors away” key is established by this normal route.
Keep the controls separate
Discard Fabric removes fabric leftovers. The recycling basket recovers a cut piece. Neither should be used as an invented exit-tool button.
If you are genuinely stuck in a tool state, rather than following the normal tutorial, record the build and exact screen. The normal cutting workflow does not prove a remedy for every interface fault.
